REP. IDEM HONOURED AS BEST HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES MEMBER ON EMPOWERMENT & CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT BY GAIYD

The member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Public Procurement, Rep. Unyime Idem, has been honoured as the best House of Representatives member on Empowerment and Constituency Development. 

The latest award was bestowed on him yesterday in a colourful ceremony which held at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. 

Rep. Idem was represented at the event by Hon. Sani Ibrahim Tanko, deputy chairman, Committee on Public Procurement, House of Representatives. 

Recall that the Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Lawmaker has bagged numerous awards from reputable organizations, some of which include;

Distinguished Parliamentarian Award as Most Outstanding Lawmaker Of The Year, by the United Nations Peace Organization, 2024 

Rep. Idem's representative at the awards organized by Great Achievers Initiative for Youths and Community Development (GAIYD) Hon. Ibrahim Tanko, commended the organizers for finding Rep. Unyime Idem worthy to be bestowed such honour, noting that it is well deserved, given his impact in the committee, Green Chambers and his constituency. 

According to Hon. Tanko, "I can attest that Rep. Idem is the best chairman I have worked with in the National Assembly. He is thorough, a stickler for excellence, and has immense passion for his duties."

In addition to the award as the House of Representatives member of the Year on Empowerment and Constituency Development, Rep. Idem was also honoured with a certificate as Patron of the organization.
