Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has commiserated with the family of Late Apostle (Engr) Uduak Ekukinam, a renowned clergy, an Apostle of Holy Ghost Grace Redemption Mission, Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
Speaking through his Special Assistant on Humanitarian Services, Prince Nsikanabasi Umoekpo, the Governor described death as an inevitable end for all mortals and urged the bereaved family to find solace in the fact that the deceased lived a good life of deep impact.
He expressed the deep condolences of the government and people of the state to the family, praying that God comforts the deceased family and grants them the strength to bear what he described as irreplaceable loss.
"The death of a loved one, evokes a feeling of pain and grief and we share the pain you are experiencing at this moment of your bereavement. Even though we cannot find words to adequately console you for this irreplaceable loss, we however, want you to be consoled by the fact that Apostle Uduak Ekukinam lived a fulfilled life of deep impact," he said.
Responding, the deceased wife, Prof. Telma Uduak flanked by the son, Akan Ekukinam, expressed her delight at receiving the Governor's representative and commended the Governor for his kindness to the family.
The condolence visit was also graced by the presence of the Personal Assistant to the Governor on Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Mfon Israel.
